Smokers in Tynedale are being given expert help to stub out the tabs. One-to-one advice from a specialist clinic at Prudhoe Health Centre has boosted opportunities for smokers to get help when they need it most. The clinic run by Gill Kelly, stop smoking specialist for West Northumberland, is aimed at people who need intensive support. Gill said: “Some people are very nervous when they first come to the sessions as they don’t know what to expect and worry that they will be made to stop smoking.
