A ONE-DAY conference explored what is being done to help deaf people suffering from mental illness in Cumbria. deafconfmw Raising awareness: British sign language interpreter Fiona Adair during the Cumbria Deaf Association’s Sign of the Times conference at its headquarters in Compton Street, Carlisle this week The Sign of the Times conference was held at the Cumbria Deaf Association’s premises in Compton Street this week. Keynote speakers included chief executive John Brown and sign language interpreter Fiona Adair.
