A British holidaymaker died in an Indonesian hospital after doctors refused to treat him until they received hundreds of dollars in bribes, an MP has claimed.

Dale Nord, 43, was ‘allowed to die while British embassy officers and doctors stood and let him’ for the sake of a bribe, Barnsley Central MP Eric Illsley said.

The MP revealed by the time the doctors received part of the cash and agreed to treat him it was too late.
