Nine pupils may need HIV tests after they were attacked with a hypodermic needle in a school playground. It is believed the pupils were stabbed in the hands, arms and buttocks at the John Port School in Etwall, Derbyshire. The secondary school's headmaster Michael Crane said he had taken "appropriate action" against two pupils and the police were investigating.
