BOSSES of a Greater Manchester hospital are aiming to save 1,000 lives over the next three years - by becoming the safest in the NHS. Staff at Salford Royal Hospital, also known as Hope, aim to cut infections, improve treatment and give more personal care to cut unnecessary deaths.
