A HOSPITAL has set up an isolation ward to deal with an outbreak of the Clostridium difficile bug. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Chester has taken the step after 26 patients were found to be infected. Ward 43 is being used as an isolation ward and is closed to visitors.
