Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is to pilot a new infection prevention initiative at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. Led by Governors from the Trust, the scheme aims to raise awareness of infection prevention measures, in particular the importance of good hand hygiene by staff, patients and visitors. The pilot project will run during visiting times on selected wards at Chorley from next Tuesday to Friday March 28.
