PUPILS at a Merseyside primary school have burnt one million calories in a new anti-obesity drive. In the health campaign launched in January pedometers were given to all children so they could measure how far they walked in a day. The 33 nine and 10-year-old pupils have totted up 630,000 steps each, more than enough to walk to London.
