PRIMARY school pupils are stepping up to the challenge of getting active and staying healthy thanks to children's charity, MedEquip4Kids. Pupils from Howe Bridge St Michael's CE Primary School were each given a free pedometer and mini beanbag by the Prestwich-based charity as part of the Get Active with Pip' programme encouraging them to build up their activity levels. The programme, which has been created in conjunction with Manchester Primary Care Trust, is aimed at children adopting a healthy lifestyle from a young age and getting the recommended one-hour of exercise every day.
