MENTAL health patients could soon be using pedal power to get them on the road to recovery. A bike container and cycles are being installed at the Royal Bolton Hospital and will be open for use in the next few weeks. Guided rides in the countryside surrounding the hospital will be held and will be open to members of the public, as well as mental health patients, in a bid to get people active. It is also hoped hospital staff will be able to take part in lunchtime rides.
