KIDNEY disease patients and campaigners have told how lives will be changed for the better with the arrival of Southport’s own dialysis unit. This week’s announcement that Southport & Formby District General Hospital is to get a brand new renal dialysis unit by the end of the year marks victory for a campaign which has drawn heavy support in our town – including the full backing of the Southport Visiter.
