EAST Lancashire has doubled its number of GP registrars in just two years, thanks to a health service campaign. And now both East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen PCTs have been nominated for a prestigious Health Service Journal award for their partnership on the government-backed doctors' training programme Modernising Medical Careers.
