A nurse from Bury who made a series of "potentially fatal" errors while working on a cancer ward at Christie Hospital has been banned from working in the profession for 12 months. Stephen Bagwell (43) failed to call for help as a critically ill man's condition rapidly deteriorated. He also failed to tell a doctor about a patient's dangerously low blood count, the Nursing and Midwifery Council heard.
