Nurses row escalates - Manchester Evening News 22nd November 2007

THE head of an NHS trust has threatened to report striking nurses to their professional body. More than 150 nurses and other medical staff are refusing to work after Manchester Mental Health Trust dismissal of a union official. But at an emergency meeting today, Sheila Foley, the trust's chief executive, accused those taking action of breaching their duty of care to patients and warned she would report them to their governing bodies.
