Women get deal to freeze eggs for free - The Sunday Times 21st September 2008

WOMEN who wish to delay motherhood to establish their careers or find the ideal man will be able to freeze their eggs for free in exchange for giving half of them to infertile couples. Advances in egg-freezing technology, which have almost eliminated the risk of damage to eggs, have allowed doctors to offer the treatment to women for non-medical reasons.
