So Much For Public Opinion - Lancashire Evening Telegraph 19th June 2008

I received a letter from the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust inviting me to become a member of the Trust. Among the many benefits' of membership, or so it is claimed, is that members can have a say in how the hospital is run. Well excuse me, but just recently the Trust asked folks in this neck of the woods about plans to close the Accident and Emergency Department at Burnley General hospital.
