Response times - Carlisle News & Star 19th June 2008

THE recent health service meeting in Bellingham raised as many questions as it answered. Yes, there was guarded acceptance that the unnecessary confrontation with doctors is resolved. However, the majority of the meeting was concerned with critical slowness in our ambulance service. There was real public anger that urban response times of nine minutes were quoted. Patients in Haltwhistle, Bellingham and Kielder know that it will take 45 minutes or more to be seen.
