Nurses and cleaners may be spreading superbugs around wards in their efforts to keep hospitals free of the bacteria, according to scientists. Researchers at Cardiff University say that cleaning wipes infused with antibacterials or disinfectants do not necessarily kill bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and can spread the superbugs around.
