Hospital trust beats waiting times target - Runcorn and Widnes News 19th June 2008

WHISTON Hospital has smashed the national targets for waiting times, with 90% of patients beginning treatment within the target period. St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals Trust, which operates Whiston and St Helens Hospitals, has beaten the Government’s national target which states 85% of patients must be treated with 18 weeks of referral by a GP.
