CUMBRIA PCT say savings of around £1million will be made through reductions. There will also be a £7.2million capital investment in improved inpatient facilities from the Cumbria Partnership Trust over a three year period. Cumbria Primary Care Trust is to explore pooling money it currently spends in mental health on social care with Cumbria County Council as they both currently commission similar services.
