CUMBRIA Primary Care Trust (PCT) is among the top 10 most improved health organisations in the country. All health trusts have their performance checked by independent watchdog, the Healthcare Commission. Trusts have to issue a public declaration on how they think they are performing on meeting the government’s core standards in areas such as safety, clinical effectiveness and patient focus.
