Coroner blames hospital for mother's caesarean death - The Guardian 30th May 2008

A nurse's death from massive bleeding after she gave birth by caesarean in her own hospital resulted from neglect and failings at its maternity unit, a coroner ruled today. First-time mother Ana Maria Denzo, 30, lost 10 litres of blood in February 2005 after the delivery at Northwick Park hospital in north-west London. Her newborn daughter survived.
