A MERSEYSIDE hospital trust is among nine in England that has failed to complete its deep clean process to combat superbugs like MRSA, according to a statement from the health secretary. Alan Johnson said yesterday that St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals NHS Trust has not yet completed the programme, which was supposed to be finished by the end of March.
