TOWN leaders are turning to the law in an attempt to stop ambulance chiefs downgrading volunteer medics. Nantwich Town Council voted unanimously on Monday to seek advice on obtaining a temporary court injunction to stop the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) stripping the Nantwich First Responders of life-saving powers on May 1.
