Early Herceptin combination cures half breast cancer cases - The Times 19th April 2008

Breast cancer can be completely eradicated in almost half of women patients who are treated early with a combination of Herceptin and a traditional chemotherapy drug. The new results, announced yesterday at the European Breast Cancer Conference in Berlin, “raise the prospect of a cure” of breast cancer for some women, say Roche, the makers of Herceptin.
