Twins taken 25 miles from new mother - The Telegraph 25th March 2008

Newborn twins were sent to a hospital in another county for more than 48 hours because of a lack of specialist cots. The family of the babies' mother, Keeley Rayner, have called for action to stop other parents facing the same anguish. The girls were born eight weeks' premature at St James's Hospital, Leeds, on a Friday lunchtime and taken 25 miles to Barnsley Hospital because of a shortage of neonatal intensive care cots.
