Letters to the Telegraph - The Telegraph 4th March 2008

Tuesday, March 04, 2008

Lord Mancroft (report, March 1) was right to declare his disgust with elements of nursing in the NHS. But bad nursing is not unique to the NHS. After a five-day stay in one of London's well-known private hospitals, I completed the patient satisfaction questionnaire. I made a robust complaint about some appalling nursing. Only after a third and recorded-delivery letter to the hospital was a reply received from the chief nursing officer, informing me that, in due course, my comments might be reviewed.
