The death of a cancer victim only two months after she was deported while receiving treatment at a Cardiff hospital is “on the nation’s conscience”, the Archbishop of Wales said yesterday. Ama Sumani, 39, was removed from the hospital by five immigration officials who drove her to Heathrow and put her on a flight to her native Ghana. Mrs Sumani, a mother of two, died because the treatment she needed was not available in her home country.
