Cancer care survey extended - Manchester Evening News 1st March 2008

A CHANCE for the public to have their say on the future of a hospital's breast cancer care services has been extended after there were just 38 responses in three months. Breast care services at Trafford General Hospital were closed two and half years ago after a doctor misread scans, mistakenly giving 20 women with cancer the all-clear. Hospital bosses suspended radiologist Dr Amjad Husien in April 2005 after discovering the errors.
