Patientline, the monopoly NHS bedside phone calls provider that more than doubled call charges last year, admitted on Friday it has been unable to renegotiate its near £90m debt mountain. The company, which owes an RBS-led banking syndicate £89m, conceded that although it continues to work with banks to find a solution, the two sides have failed to agree a debt restructuring deal with an informal deadline of the end of March looming.
