‘Secret tests’ on miscarried babies claim - Carlisle News & Star 30th November 2007

ORGANS from miscarried babies may have been secretly tested by nuclear industry scientists, it has emerged. The Sellafield body parts inquiry is now to investigate the harvesting of human tissue over three decades from people who never worked at Sellafield, including miscarried babies. Evidence of the dramatic widening of the investigation came this week as it was confirmed that there is evidence suggesting that organs and tissue from miscarried babies may have been used by nuclear industry scientists.
