THE death of a Liverpool woman four days after having a pacemaker fitted was aggravated by neglect, a coroner has ruled. Mother-of-two Alice Brown, 49, from Oriel Drive, Aintree, was admitted to Fazakerley hospital after complaining of breathlessness. Doctors diagnosed that she had a complete heart block and said a pacemaker needed to be fitted.
