Mother's anger over shared baby graves - The Observer 2nd December 2007

A mother who discovered that her son had been buried in a communal public grave with other babies has accused the hospital who organised his funeral of 'treating him like dirt'. Alvina Carrington was horrified to learn that her son Luke, who was stillborn at Northwick Park hospital seven months into her pregnancy, was laid to rest beside three other babies in a small, unmarked grave in a cemetery in north-west London near the hospital.
