Firm bids to 'zap' MRSA - Chorley Citizen 30th November 2007

An Adlington firm pleaded with health bosses this week to "give us a chance" as the Government was urged to step up the fight against the hospital superbug MRSA. Carrington's, the largest supplier of workwear and technical fabrics in the UK, is pioneering a new process that can zap the superbug - destroying it by electrocution'. Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle pressed health ministers to do more to combat hospital infections, praising the efforts of Carrington's, based at its parent company, Pincroft Dyeing and Printing, Market Street, Adlington.
