Call to be aware of symptoms - Chester Chronicle 30th November 2007

HALF of parents who took their child to the doctors in the early stages of meningitis were sent home again, research has shown. A study by the Meningitis Research Foundation found that UK doctors missed the symptoms when first examining 49% of under 17s who later contracted the disease.
