Nurses should be given powers to prescribe cocaine on the Health Service to addicts, Government drug experts ruled yesterday. A small number of doctors have already been quietly licensed to give the Class-A drug – which costs £50 per gramme at street prices – to chronic users. Now the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs wants to go further by giving NHS nurses and pharmacists permission to hand out cocaine.

This has got to be the daftest idea in the world.
what about other government departments that need money? £50 per gram per patient per week it would go into the millions in a matter of weeks. everyday i see something on the news about the victims of the summer floods living in caravans. what about them what about all the other things this country NEEDS? i am 19 i have a long time left here and i dont want to live in a country that feeds the addicts and starves the ill. needless to say i think i might move to the u.s after uni :)
