The Government's cancer tsar called on NHS Primary Care Trusts today to consider adopting a charity's scheme which could allow many more terminally ill patients to die at home. Marie Curie Cancer Care released details today of a trial of its Delivering Choice Programme in Lincolnshire, which saw numbers of patients dying at home increase from 17 per cent to 42 per cent over two years.
