Ambulance cash crisis - Wirral Globe 24th August 2007

CASH-STRAPPED ambulance service bosses have revealed that only one third of outdated vehicles will be replaced. Of the 345-strong Merseyside and Cheshire fleet, 128 ambulances are in need of change but only 35 will be bought new this year due to a lack of government funding.
