A wife has been forced to banish her loving husband from their marital bed - because he has developed a rare condition causing him to attack her in his sleep. Gentle Derek Barfoot, 75, has got 'parasomnia', a rare medical condition which means he acts out violent dreams while asleep. His wife Elaine has had to secure all her kitchen knives in the garden shed over fears he could stab her in her sleep.
