Two years ago, I had six gallstones and my gallbladder removed - all successfully. But I can’t help wondering, now I don’t have a gallbladder, where is all the bile going? Is it building up inside me?

From what I was told when I had mine out in September, instead of being filtered through the gallbladder and released only when we eat fatty foods, it now is constantly going from liver through intestines......so that is why we had an adjustment time for weeks after the surgery as the body adjusted to that happening. And apparently some people never do adjust. Fortunately after 6 weeks I am almost all adjusted! LOL Sometimes still have problems but I have been told that will all go away in time.
