A TERMINALLY ill grandmother has won a landmark battle to force health chiefs to pay for a life extending cancer drug - by proving it works. An anonymous donor stepped in giving Jean Murphy, 62, £10,000 to pay for pioneering drug Sutent to tackle her kidney cancer after Salford primary care trust refused to fund it four times.
