A MERSEYSIDE mother-of-two has been named one of the country’s best midwives. Jan Sanders, from Southport, is the North West regional winner of the Midwife of the Year Awards. The awards, now in its 11th year, recognise the dedication and commitment of practising midwives in the UK.
