FURNESS schoolgirls and students are to be offered a vaccination which could cut cases of cervical cancer in Cumbria by nearly three-quarters. But the HPV, or human papillomavirus, vaccine will be offered to all 12 and 13-year-old girls in school Year Eight from this month.
