SUPERBUG infection rates at Liverpool’s biggest hospitals have been slashed. Health Protection Agency figures published today reveal MRSA infection rates at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and Broadgreen fell by 50% in the past year, and C-difficile by just over 50% in the past four months.
