‘Paranoia behind nurse’s allegations’ - Carlisle News & Star 22nd September 2008

A SENIOR nurse who claims she was the victim of a calculated campaign of harassment and victimisation by bosses has been accused of suffering from “extreme paranoia”. At a tribunal this morning Sarina Saiger, former assistant director of nursing at the North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust, accused managers of going behind her back to obtain personal information. These allegations centred around her part-time PhD studies, which required her to travel to the University of Salford several days each month.
