Millions of children who have missed MMR jabs are being targeted in a campaign to head off a measles epidemic. Extra vaccine and more cash is being promised to NHS trusts in a bid to stem a rise in cases of the illness. In June, a 17-year-old from West Yorkshire became the second person to die of measles in Britain in 16 years.
