Last Wednesday she had an evening meeting, already postponed once. The childminder was ill, the neighbour's au pair had a date. Crisis help was cobbled together via friends - for that night at least. Now, was that a parenting dilemma? Or more to do with the business of mothering? And does the difference matter?
