I would like to comment on the article printed in the May 29 edition ‘Hand-wipes bid to beat hospital bugs’. My son was involved, as a pedestrian, in a road traffic accident back in February this year. He was treated in Intensive Care at The West Cumberland Hospital, where he remained comatose until he was transferred to Newcastle.
