Val, the smooth operator - Carlisle News & Star 3rd June 2008

Working at the West Cumberland Hospital for 12 years, Val has been responsible for the smooth running of the paediatric department. She is currently personal assistant to junior doctors Patricia Carter and Sriram Iyer, which means she is in close contact with many of the parents whose youngsters use the paediatric service.
