A toddler has died after apparently drinking a bottle of methadone, thinking it was fruit juice. Dylan Hughes, two, collapsed at home and died in hospital. It is thought that he mistakenly swallowed the heroin substitute because it was mixed with a fruit drink. Police are investigating the death in the village of Nant-y-moel, near Bridgend in South Wales, although no one has been arrested.
